Baron d'Ardeuil BUZET Red Wine AOC 75 cl
The vintage Baron d'Ardeuil old vines red vine growers of Buzet presents a dark red dress with purplish reflections. The nose is on ripe black fruits with finely woody notes and a touch of spice. On the palate we find soft tannins that bring roundness. The Buzet Baron d'Ardeuil presents notes of aging in oak barrel on the finish.
Two of the three "lieutenants" of Joan of Arc are from the soil of Buzet: Poton de Xaintrailles and La Hire. According to Jeanne's mythology, Xaintrailles had his own lieutenant. He was so valiant, so full of ardor and pride, that Poton ennobled him and called him D'Ardeuil. Super name and full of presence. His memory still haunts the beautiful hills of the land that are called here "croupes". In these valleys of oxygen was born the Baron's balloon. The glass of Baron d'Ardeuil who loved noble wines.
